We had a wonderful time putting on our Christmas events this year! From the Christmas services at @azaminochapel and Denen Grace Church, to the kids' and young adult outreach events, to the candlelight service that one of the church members preached the Christmas message, and Mason and Kaili performing at their school's Christmas celebration, it was all about giving God the glory and pointing to Jesus as the reason for the season. Thank you for your prayers! #MerryChristmas #WalkersInJapan2023

It was great having Jeff's dad in Japan for a visit for the first time! We ventured out into the cold to explore Minato Mirai in downtown Yokohama on his last night here before returning to the States. And we took him to the kids' favorite breakfast place the next morning. Till next time! #MerryChristmas #WalkersInJapan2023

We had a wonderful time serving in Chikusei, Ibaraki at @saiwaicc two Saturdays ago! It was a kids' Christmas outreach event where we shared the true meaning of Christmas, and we were blessed with 20+ local kids who attended. A few families even attended church the next day! We got married in Hawaii 13 years ago and stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village on Waikiki. We hadn't been back since, until our recent little staycation there--now with 3 kiddos in tow! It was special being back.

We had a great time at our annual retreat near Mount Fuji this past weekend! Great teaching, fellowship, and a bit of rest (as much as you can get with a 5-month-old!). Love spending time in God's beautiful Creation and marveling at the work of His hands, including the majestic Fuji in the background. After 3 nights away at their school's camp a 5-hour drive away in Nagano, Mason and Kaili are back home! It was definitely weird without them at home, especially knowing how far away they were. We missed them very much, but we thank God that it was a great experience for them! They had lots of fun playing games, doing crafts, making friends, singing worship, and learning about Jesus. Next time we'll just try to make sure Kaili remembers her toothbrush. :) #ぶっとびキャンプ #WalkersInJapan2023

Elijah was born 3 weeks early, while Jeff was still in Seattle. But praise God for our friends who surrounded and supported our family and made this all possible. Momma and baby are doing well, and Mason and Kaili are adjusting to life with a little brother. God is good! #WalkersInJapan2022

Jeff and Malia Walker are WorldVenture missionaries to Japan. They have lived in Kanagawa, Japan with their three young children since March 2022 and are part of the Cross Project church-planting team. They are originally from Seattle, WA.
