Happy New Year
Happy New Year from the States! We spent Christmas and New Years in Hawaii with Malia's family, and are now in the Seattle area. Our first weekend in Washington we attended our home church Lighthouse, and it was wonderful to be back! We'll be in Washington until early April, with upcoming trips to California and Colorado in February. It's been a blessing to see and reconnect with family, friends, and partners! Please feel free to reach out--we'd love to see you and connect!
Please join us for our report to the Lighthouse Christian Church community about our first term in Japan! Lunch included. Where: Lighthouse Center (15530 Lake Hills Blvd #201, Bellevue, WA 98007) When: Sunday, February 16th 12:00pm to 2:00pm RSVP: Follow this link
Updates & Praise:
Praise God that the $7000 we mentioned in December that needed to be raised to cover the costs of the missionary debrief at MTI in Colorado was fully received in year-end donations! God is truly amazing in providing through you, our financial and prayer partners!
It was a blessing to spend Christmas and New Years with family in Hawaii, and to visit family and friends in Washington in the new year. We even got to meet our new nephew for the first time!
Our visits to supporting churches in Salem, OR and Winlock, WA the last two weekends were a wonderful time to share God's ministry in Japan and connect with people at those churches. What an encouragement!
Malia was summoned to jury duty, but praise God that she was not selected! This could have impacted our upcoming trip to California.
Prayer:
Please pray for our upcoming visits to churches and missions boards, including for safe travels Feb 3-12 to California and Feb 23 - March 6 to Colorado:
February 2nd - Kirkland, WA
February 9th - Pleasanton, CA
February 13th and 14th - Seattle, WA
February 16th - Lighthouse Christian Church in Bellevue, WA (as noted above)
For our home assignment, please pray for rest, recovery, and reignited passion for ministry in Japan.
Please pray for Mason and Kaili's education while we are Stateside. They are each taking an online English class, in addition to having Japanese homework from their school. It's been a struggle at times.
Please pray for partnership development and support raising. We've lost some support, and are currently under-funded by $400 per month.
Spending time with family in Hawaii and Washington // On stage in Salem

We would love to hear from you, whether it be to share your prayer requests or to simply catch up. Please know that we think of you and pray for you often.
Thanks and blessings,
The Walkers
Jeff, Malia, Mason, Kaili, and Elijah
