Video Update
This month we have a special video update recapping our 2nd year in Japan. Please give it a watch!
2024 Annual Video Update
Updates & Praise:
We had our first Azamino Chapel service without the Mitchell family, who is back in the States for 4 months. There were some hiccups, but praise God for the people who attended, the message that was preached, and that overall it went well!
Mason and Kaili had a great time at their school camp in Nagano last month.
Last month we celebrated Mason's 11th birthday, and Elijah's now 18 months old!
Jeff and Malia continue in their language studies. Jeff is starting an Advanced class next month.
Prayer:
Please pray for upcoming ministry events:
Azamino-area prayer walk for Azamino Chapel
Azamino Chapel Children's Event (with Lighthouse team)
Summer VBS/English Camp at Saiwaicho in Ibaraki (with Lighthouse team) - July 29th through August 2nd
Please pray for preparations for Lighthouse's short-term missions team to come this summer (late July/early August), where we will serve with them in Azamino and Ibaraki.
Please pray for ongoing relationships in our community, including Jeff meeting with Japanese dads, and Malia's mulitple opportunities to share God's love through ministering to children, including teaching English.
Please continue to pray for us and Alissa to help the Azamino ministries run well in the Mitchells' absence.
We will be returning to the States for our first home assignment January to March 2025. We'll spend most of our time in Washington, but will also visit Oregon, California, Hawaii, and possibly Colorado. Please be in prayer for the preparations, including a place to stay.

We would love to hear from you, whether it be to share your prayer requests or to simply catch up. Please know that we think of you and pray for you often.
Thanks and blessings,
The Walkers
